Holiday Photo Diary: Corfu

I recently got back from the most amazing, enjoyable and fun holiday with my friends which means I am currently suffering from serious holiday blues. We went to a place called Sidari which is situated in the North Coast of Corfu and is about a 45 minute drive from Corfu airport. We stayed at Angelina's hotel & apartments which was really reasonably priced and we had no problems staying there so I would recommend it. It definitely has more of a family vibe but that is what we were looking for as we wanted to chill and relax. I've never been to Greece before so I was excited to see what it's like and I can say that where we went was beautiful. The views are stunning and there is lots to do and see.

A must-see in Sidari is Canal D'amour which is a tiny beach at the foot of a cliff, it's so pretty and less busy than the main beach. We were really lucky because it was less than a 5 minute walk away from where we stayed and we loved it there. Every night we went out for a meal and one of my favourite restaurants was called Three Little Pigs, during the meal we were entertained by the waiters with some Greek dancing and fire to go with it (see picture below!). Another restaurant I loved was one on sunset beach called Panorama, it had the best views to watch the sunset and I can't fault the meal we had there. After food, most nights we would head to the strip which was a lot of fun, although the peak times are around July/August so since we went at the end of June it was slightly quieter and less busy.

One of my favourite days of the holiday was when we went on a boat trip which took us along the east coast of Corfu and involved stopping off at various beaches. We also stopped by a cave in the sea and had a chance to swim and get photos which was really cool. Another holiday highlight was an evening trip to Corfu Town which is around a 50 minute drive from Sidari by coach. I would highly recommend visiting Corfu Town, it's full of narrow streets which are so pretty so we walked around lots and went to a lovely restaurant too. We only had about four hours to explore but I wish we could have stayed for longer!

Overall it was an amazing holiday and it was also fairly cheap so it was a perfect destination for our girlie holiday. Now for some photos...

What do you think of Corfu? Have you ever been there?
