I'm massively late to the party on this one as these have been out for so long but I recently got my hands on the Revlon Matte Balms in five different shades. I'm all about a matte lip so as soon as I saw these I thought they would be perfect for me. Unfortunately I'm not overly impressed with the formula of most of them as they're not quite matte enough for me. The lighter more softer shades don't sit very well on my lips and cling to dry patches.

The only colour that does apply really well on my lips is 'Sultry' which is my favourite of them all. I think I will wear it a lot as I really like the colour and I don't have anything similar to it in my collection already. I feel like the darker colours in the range have a lot better pigmentation as opposed to the other shades which are slightly more sheer. So I will be keeping my eye out for the other two darker shades in this collection which are called 'Standout' and 'Shameless'.

I think if the formula of these works for you then they would be great addition for anyone. I love how quick, easy and fuss free the application is, making it the perfect kind of lip product to keep in your handbag for on the go. Also I like the fact that they twist up unlike some other crayon type lip products which you have to sharpen as it just makes it a whole lot easier.
