Recent Beauty Purchases

There have been so many new beauty releases lately that I felt the urge to make a visit to Boots to pick up some of the new launches as well as some things I've been wanting to try out for some time. Whilst I was there I also stocked up on some of my all time favourite products which I know I love.

Maybelline Color Drama Lipsticks - There has been a lot of hype recently about the color drama lipsticks from Maybelline so I'm desperate to see what all the fuss is about! If I do get on with them then I will definitely be getting some more colours as it was hard to just pick three! The shades I chose were 'Berry Much', 'Nude Perfection' and 'In With Coral'.

Compact Tangle Teezer Lulu Guiness - I'm a huge fan of Lulu Guiness products so as soon as I saw this limited edition tangle teezer it had to be mine! It also comes at great timing because it's only recently that I've been looking into getting the compact version of the tangle teezer to keep in my handbag. I already have the standard sized one but these are perfect for on the go or to take travelling as they're a bit smaller than the normal size. It's also great that it comes with a cover as this prevents it from getting ruined or damaged in your bag.

Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit - Who doesn't love a bit of contouring? This kit looks like the perfect trio and the price is reasonable too as you would expect from Barry M. This exciting new launch includes three matte shades; one for highlighting, one for bronzing and one for sculpting. It comes with an easy to follow step by step guide which is helpful if you're not so sure on which powder goes where. Sculpting shades in particular are difficult to get hold of around this kind of price point so I'm hoping these powders will be pigmented and also blend well.

Borjois Healthy Mix Foundation - I use Nars Sheer Glow foundation pretty much everyday and supposedly this Borjois foundation is very similar so I've been meaning to pick it up for a while. I always find buying foundations a bit of a pain when you can't try them on your skin fully but I ended up going for the shade 53 which is light beige - fingers crossed it's okay for my skin tone!

These last few products are ones which I have tried, tested and love which means that I'm forever repurchasing them...

Garnier Micellar Water & 2in1 Eye Make Up Remover - A long time ago I used to use wipes to remove my make up every night but once I tried using a micellar water I never went back to wipes. The micellar water feels so much nicer on the skin and is far more gentle. I love using it to remove the bulk of my make up before I cleanse my face at night. The 2in1 eye make up remover is also a must-have because I wear water proof mascara every day and I find that it's the only product that gets my mascara off easily and quickly.

Maybelline 'The Rocket' Waterproof Mascara - I have been using this for so long now and I really don't feel the need to try any more mascaras. In the past I have tried many mascaras but nothing has lived up to this one. I have the straightest most non-existent lashes going which means I can't go a day without using eyelash curlers followed by this Maybelline mascara. It does such a good job at holding the curl all day and I love the chunky plastic wand applicator.

Eyelure 107 Lashes - I dread to think how much money I have spent on eyelashes over the past few years, I'm so obsessed with the look they give! I've bought so many packs of these 107 lashes and for me it definitely wouldn't be a night out without wearing them! I always cut the inner part of the lash slightly as I do find them to be a bit long and I use tweezers to apply them with the glue that is provided.

Have you tried any of these products?
